Our Patrons
Our patrons are our artistic references. They support us both morally and concretely by their presence.
We asked them why they said “yes” to DreamAgo :

Stephen Frears :
“I support DreamAgo because it’s very tough nowadays to get films made which don’t fall into a certain conventional pattern. We all need to help each other.”

Alain Corneau :
” In the word “DreamAgo”, there is the word “dream”… But DreamAgo is also an awakening dream, just like in our profession, where dreams can only happen through the grace of very concrete means ! DreamAgo is willing to concretely help scripts becoming movies. DreamAgo is willing to really respect cultural differences, some of the most precious things in this world… And finally, DreamAgo is expecting you to act quickly with generosity – meaning : for free !, because one always needs to move quickly ! Being a patron of DreamAgo is wanting to share the sum of all these qualities.”

Jose F. (Pete) Lacaba :
“When Pascale Rey asked me to be a patron of DreamAgo, I agreed for at least two reasons. The first is personal. I was honored to have been invited to serve as a mentor in the first Plume & Pellicule screen- writing workshop in Switzerland, and I particularly felt flattered that, as a screenwriter from a Third World country, I was being considered not just as an exotic curiosity but as one who could genuinely share experience and expertise with aspiring First World screenwriters.
The second and perhaps more compelling reason is my belief that, in this day and age, a joining of forces and knowledge on an international level, a North-South cultural exchange, would definitely be to the mutual benefit of both North and South, and augurs well for the future of filmmaking.”
Jorge Perugorria :
“For me, to be part of a plan such as DreamAgo, this means unite our efforts to support the Cuban cinema living thanks to the collaboration and talented exchange with artists with will to share their experience.
DreamAgo can be a bridge of value between the latin-american cinema and the European cinema, in order to change dreams in reality for all those who really like the cinema.”
Guillermo Arriaga :
“I decided to be a patron for DreamAgo because it’s impossible not to support an initiative that wants to support others. Because in the movie field good will and generosity need to come first and DreamAgo hast these two virtues as its foundation. DreamAgo was formed to make us better, to make us meet as human beings, to make us realize ourselves as professionals.”
