Chris Bessounian & Tianna Langham: Congratulations!
DreamAgo members and participants of Plume & Pellicule 2011, Chris Bessounian and Tianna Langham have just won the coveted Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. As one of a record breaking 6730 entries this year, this victory is certainly an inspiring feat.

Born in England, Tianna Langham received a degree in Political Science before studying film. She won a BAFTA/LA Student Award for the short, The Kolaborator.

Born in Sudan, raised in Australia, Chris Bessounian
was a stage actor before becoming a filmmaker.
He won a BAFTA/LA Student Award for his short,
The Kolaborator, and won the American Pavilion’s
Showcase at Cannes Film Festival.
DreamAgo members are not new to the Nicholl Fellowship, Matt Ackley having won for 2009 with the same script for which he was a participant in Plume & Pellicule 2009 and having placed in the quarterfinals, for this year, member Limor Diamant and for 2009, member Tim Smith.
Christian Rauth:
Christian Rauth, a screenwriter for d’Omnibus, an Oscar winning short, and also an actor ( Rue Barbare, Navarro, Père et Maire ), has just published his second novel ”Fin de Série“. The Pitch: Rob Marin plays the role of a policeman in a successful TV show in which the lead actor has just been murdered. In order to find the real assassin, Rob will partner with Gabriel Plume, a young cop from Marseilles, creating an unlikely and volatile pair of investigators who reflect the deep gap between the reality of a true police precinct and one on a TV police show. ”Fin de Série” is published by Michel Lafon. The press is already comparing the novel to a movie, so attention producers, the show can begin…
What the French Press is saying (in French):
LE CANARD Enchaîné – LA GOUAILLE DE L’ECRITURE
Le polar de l’écrivain Rauth c’est autre chose… C’est tellement distrayant un roman à clé qui vous balade dans un univers inconnu. Là, c’est la télé, les producteurs, les acteurs, les ridicules caprices, les mesquineries minables… Le deuxième attrait, c’est l’intrigue policière et la gouaille de l’écriture… Et la très habile construction.
