For a movie to exist, a project has to become aligned with a passionate producer (and in some cases a director as well) who shares the writer’s same sensibility.
Having already supported 60 projects since its creation, it is now DreamAgo’s aim to help take these projects to the next stage, as international coproductions, introducing them to a select group of recognized professionals as the most promising work of a new generation of international authors.
To achieve this, DreamAgo has established a program called Meet your Match. There are four steps to this program :
- After the intense work and rewrites of the screenplays that have gone through the Plume & Pellicule workshop, the writer (or writer/director) submits his/her script to Meet your Match.
- DreamAgo then selects seven (7) of these projects and prepares a complete package with the writer (or writer/director). This includes analyzing the needs of each project in terms of budget, production, schedule and talent.
- DreamAgo establishes contacts with the best potential producers, distributors and talent for each project in Los Angeles during the AFM Film Festival; in Paris; and also in San Sebastian according to the project’s needs.
- Personal meetings with the writers (or writer/directors) are then set up.
ELIGIBLE PROJECTS:
A script is eligible if and only if the writer (or writer/director)has attended Plume & Pellicule and if the script has then been re-written (following the coaching received in the workshop) and approved.
